Light tuna

Canned Light Tuna are made with Yellowfin or Yellowfin (Thunnus albacares). It can reach 2 meters in length and reach 200 kg. of weight. It has a bulky, scalar body that tapers towards the tail. Its peculiar Yellow Fins make it stand out from other species in the same family.

This migratory fish is caught by large ships in the Atlantic, Pacific and Indian oceans. It is frozen on board to preserve its quality until it arrives at the factory, where it will be processed and canned.

It presents a clear hue characteristic of its denomination.
